Curiosity leads to off-beaten paths and learning local legends. Sanatorio de Duran in Costa Rica is the most beautiful location I’ve visited. Built in the 60’s, this Tuberculosis hospital transitioned into a jail, and mental institution, and even housed children before closing its doors for good.
Who knew such an active energy portal sat atop the Costa Rican mountains waiting to be explored?
